Getting Married In The New Millennium - The Trend Towards Casual Weddings

Over the last few years, more and more people are opting for a casual wedding, instead of having a lavish formal wedding. Most people have asked whether to have a casual weding or to have a formal wedding, with all the wedding etiquette and all the bells and whistles of a formal wedding.
Some weddings are casual because those getting married are older and it isn’t their first marriage. When two people decide on getting married and they don’t want to make it a big deal, a casual wedding is fine. A low key approach for wedings makes the day easier and others aren’t obligated to be there or to even buy presents. Just the two people and two other witnesses is all it takes.
After people have had big weddings they just want something easy and casual. Anybody that might feel slighted will be easy to talk to because everything was relaxed. It isn’t that they were left out - rather nobody was invited. Also, when two people have low key wedings, the stress level is really lower. There isn’t much planning to do and the people can concentrate on each other without fighting or having to pay for expensive parts of the wedding. It should be applauded that they are getting married.
Many people choose to not get married again and they will just live together. Some feel that there is something unsettling about that choice. When people get old, they want to have a spouse. When people don’t want to have a wedding, they run the risk of being alone as they age and having nobody visiting when death is near. The problem is that many people don’t think about aging until it’s too late.

If someone thinks that marriage is only a religious symbol of love and that it isn’t necessary, they would be wrong. The government gives more rights to married people and lower taxes. There are so many reasons to have wedings. Medical research shows that people live longer healthier lives when they are married. Those who decide against it will in general have more health problems; so there definitely are benefits to marriage for people.
Something else to consider is that marrying and the wedding itself show two people that they are bonded together for life. Of course some people won’t marry if it was to save their life; everyone has their own reasons and everyone else must respect their decision. Someone could have been emotionally devastated when they were previously married and they don’t want to be in a certain situation where they have to file for divorce in order to get away emotionally. Weddings are for most people the thing that they want. It cements the relationship between two people for the rest of their lives.
Having a wedding is every girls dream. Casual wedding day celebrations can still be on par with formal weddings. Creating a great wedding day is possible, whether that be a formal wedding or a casual wedding day celebration.
